Achille Castiglioni – VLM light switch

One of Achille Castiglioni’s most unknown designs might be the light switch, Rompitratta that he designed for VLM in the late 60’s. The light switch became a European standard for table lamps in the 70’s and Achille Castiglioni referred to it as -his little secret. He thought of it as an object that represented the essence of industrial design and with an anonymous appearance, it could enter anyones home.
